“There’s nothing like a convert is there? I must admit to being a little sceptical about marquee hire for my wedding, but my partner found Abacus Party Cover and they were excellent in every way. Mark is a dead ringer for Tom Daley, the famous British Olympic diver, I thought. I liked his entrepreneurial ideas and his very pleasant manner.
The marquee was beautifully bright, white and clean, and didn’t take long to erect in boiling hot weather without a single moan from anyone concerned. All worked very hard indeed without a break. The young men who erected it were also very punctual. We and our guests all loved our marquee, and were indeed a little sad when it had to be taken down. Our cat was as sceptical as I was, but after his initial surprise at finding a large white ghostly structure in his territory he inspected every inch in detail and refused to come out. He enjoyed its fun factor I think…. The soft carpeting was lovely and the marquee also seemed to retain the heat.
We were a bit worried about the cold and windy weather the night before our wedding day but all was great. I would certainly recommend this marquee hire company to anyone. Many thanks to everyone concerned – very grateful and wouldn’t have had such a lovely Reception without you.”

Thanks for the marquee, we were very impressed with the marquee and service that you provided. We contacted 3 companies for a quote, however you came round, quoted and sent us a written quotation before some of the others had even arranged a time to come and see us!
When you came we were very impressed with Tom (I think that was his name). He walked round the garden, measuring it put and could instantly say what he thought was the best option. His confidence and professionalism filled us with confidence that this mad idea of having the reception at home might actually work. This was quite early in our decision making about the wedding reception. When I phoned you I got to speak to a person straight away and you were always polite, professional and could answer my endless questions (with a lot of patience). In contrast to other companies who took a long time to get back to me and neither of whom actually went into the garden.
When further down the line we decided we might want to also have a marquee out the front, and line the car port, you came down again and it was the advice you gave us then that probably made the wedding the success it was. Adding on an extra marquee with storage space for the caterers and a covered bar area was invaluable especially as the Indian summer didn’t materalise.
We really made the most of the space available, and had a great wedding, before the event people would say have you really got the space to host the reception? And guests on the night were amazed at how spacious the marquee felt. We saved money on decorations by buying some decorations from a supermarket that were good value and cost very little. Most people have a limited budget, but spending extra money on a larger/ extra marquee was really the best decision, especially as it did rain on the day.
I would definitely recommend you to other people 95/100, and would use you again if we decide to have another celebration – which we might now we know how to do it.”
